It's been almost a year since you last opened an email I've sent you. I just wanted to check in to see if you were still interested in getting messages from me from time to time. I'd love to have you back, and I've been up to all sorts of things since you've been gone.
- I've released a video course on venison, a sort of companion to my book Buck Buck Moose.
- Holly and I have started an old school-style blog called "To the Bone," which is where we have been writing essays and articles about the convergence of nature and food. It's been great to be able to write in long form again!
- And my Hunt Gather Talk podcast is restarting in a couple weeks, with this season all about preservation in all its forms, from salami to pressure canning to fermentation. Recent episodes have featured celebrities like Survivorman Les Stroud and Andrew Zimmern from Bizarre Foods!
