On Thursday, July 17, I am teaming up with Top Chef winner Gabe Erales at his restaurant Ometeo for a celebration of border cuisine! This is going to be a fantastic experience, with courses echoing the book the whole way. You can reserve your spot here.
If you can't make that, I'll be close by on Saturday, July 19 down in St. Leonard, Maryland for a fundraising dinner for the Coastal Conservation Association. I'll be cooking at this one, and we'll have catfish tacos, ceviche tostadas, and caldo de oso from the cookbook! You can buy a ticket for this one here.
Finally, there are still a few raffle tickets for a fishing trip I am doing with CCA on Friday, July 18 on the Potomac. We'll be targeting the invasive-yet-delicious blue catfish, and the Ike Jime Federation's Andrew Tsui will be on hand to teach everyone about this amazing technique that will revolutionize the way you do fish prep on the boat.
