A message to all my Canadian friends:

As the grandson of Canadians (Ontario), I can't tell you how awful it has been that I have not been able to ship to Canada -- and since Amazon changed their business practices, they shut me out of the Canadian market, too. Each time I looked into it, shipping costs across the border have never been less than $30 USD, and are sometimes double that. It's bonkers. 

Then, last week, while I was pheasant hunting just a few miles from the Canadian border, it hit me: Screw it. It's more important to me that you be able to get my books than it is for me to make money off them.

It's the only way I can even hope to offset some of the stupid shipping costs I incur sending books across the border. Yes, you'll pay shipping equivalent to $30 USD, but that's actually less than I'll really be paying.
