Hey Chicago, I am headed your way.
Just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know I will be returning to one of my all-time favorite restaurants, Vie in Western Springs, Illinois, just outside of Chicago.
My friend Paul Virant, one of the Midwest's great chefs, and I will be hosting a dinner celebrating my latest cookbook Pheasant, Quail, Cottontail on October 23, starting at 6 pm.

rabbit combination: marinated and slow-cooked legs, bacon and shoulder confit, semolina dumplings, fall squash
mignardises, which is fancy for little sweet
snacks...
